Brad T

Brad (he/him) has been playing music and performing for over 25 years. He was born in the Seattle area and raised in a multi-generational family of professional musicians and teachers. His great-grandfather Paul Tutmarc was the inventor of the first electric bass.

As an educator, Brad has worked with hundreds of youth and adult students in both rock ensembles and private lessons. He is experienced in a wide variety of styles including jazz, rock, blues, folk, indie, country, flamenco, and metal. He is currently the lead guitarist in a surf rock group, and hosts Long Story Short, his weekly radio show on Space 101.1 FM.

Brad is grateful for the collaborations and friendships that music has brought him over the years, and finds great joy in being a mentor to students in their musical journey.
